I thought that was really excellent especially the idea of water as a solute and all the imagery that implies.

Thanks!! Any cards you’d like to see next in the series?

I’ve been working on something recently that involved The Hanged Man and I’d be very interested in your interpretation of it. Also The Devil card but I don’t want to bring you into a negative space so anything of your choosing would be great.

I’m a long distance sea swimmer so I think about water a lot :)

Great suggestions, adding them to the list!

I imagine being so intimately connected to the sea has given you a special relationship with water. Do you dream of water/the ocean often?

That’s a very interesting question. Yes I truly love the sea but I never dream of the sea as an entity in itself. I don’t think it hardly ever occurs in my dreams which now that I think about it is unusual because I write draw etc watch or am in or on it it so often! When I was a child I had a recurring nightmare of falling, one of them was falling from the top of a wave (not in a surfing kind of way) just being carried up and then falling down at which point I’d wake up terrified but don’t get me talking about my childhood haha. Listened to 3 of your pods today, so very thought provoking:) Thanks.

Glad you are enjoying the podcasts! It's interesting that you had a prominent water/sea dream at such a young age. Here's a post from the archive that explores the symbol of water if you'd like to take a look: https://www.theartemisian.com/p/on-the-symbol-of-water
