I pulled the 4 with The World - immediate drop in for me was "get your practical (esp. financial) house in order if you want to achieve your higher/ultimate goals."
This was quite appropriate since there's quite a lot in that space right now for me that needs attention, but I'd much rather float around in liminal space and play with archetypes. 😂
Ahh, yes, the pair of the two card brings lots of interesting nuance.
The 4 of Pentacles can reflect quite a bit of inertia, stuckness, anchoring down...usually there's something behind that, and maybe it'd be helpful for you to consider that? Traditionally, it's a miserly quality, keeping things close, conservatism.
But in the case of desiring the sky high, liminal, expansive archetypal realm, maybe there's something about the 4 of Pentacles that feels too mundane and deflating? It'd be nice to see a 3 or 8 of Pentacles for that kinda work!
Absolutely - I've been reading pairs of cards as a daily practice now going on two years, and that kinda changed the way I read. I'm almost never looking at either card in isolation, but reading them as a complete idea or story, if that makes sense.
In this case, what I need is a little more of that miserly quality/conservatism. Not a lot, but a little bit more.
The 3 hasn't shown up for me as much this year, but I've not only had the 8 of Pentacles but quite a few eights (in a nine year of course lol).
By far reading cards together is the most fun way to read tarot, I find. Especially when you have 5+ in a reading...it starts getting really interesting. I love how the cards shift and take new shape.
Interesting - I pulled the 4 of Pentacles this morning, and now you're flashing it on screen. Paying even more attention now.
Those little synchronicity moments are important to pay attention to! How are you interpreting the card for yourself?
Weird - my reply didn't take.

Just some thoughts~

Thanks for the conversation!
