This is brilliantly articulated and so helpful. If feels like having the imagery and symbolism of the myth gives additional inner clarity and strength to remain with one's practice.

That's what I really love about using mythology for inner work. The images and symbols are able to resonate to even higher degree, offering us tools, pathways, reflections!

i participated in your tarot for the year ahead session and pulled the two of pentacles for my focus. i was thinking today about editing and not being pulled in too many directions, how to bring all the desires into balance. how to stay focused. and this fits in so nicely with those thoughts and creates some new insights for me and access points. i really appreciate the framework you’ve built and how you share it with us. thank you!

Thank you, larina! It means so much to know these offerings are weaving nicely into one another. I think that's what excites me most; whether working with mythology, tarot, or other symbolic systems, we are able to create continuity between practices (which strengthens and makes them even more powerful!).

Thank you so much for this incredibly fitting response. It really stirred something within me especially after hearing a lecture by Sylvia Linsteadt about the origin of the sirens and their language making the (hu)man mind go crazy as an unavoidable surrender to death and rebirth to integrate greater knowledge and insight of Self and the world. I thought it was a very profound insight combined with your practical action of boundaries for devoted work to counteract avoidance/distraction.

This really touched me today. I've spent the better part of a year very distracted, but understanding my distractions as Sirens really brings it into sharp focus for me. Thank you.

Hey...everything well written, really no need for a comment, but the topic is interesting. A lot of people do not want to do the work, they love the idea, the mystic or interesting promises...they love to play around as long nothing new comes on their sight. What is missing ...the element fire, just burning low....myself, I find the life exlixir of inspiration most important for the inner work. In every part of creative work, there is always a low phase...except it, be aware of it...but only give it time for a short while....than you have to activate your will power and move on.

How is your fire in the inner work...what drives you to move on ?
