It might be a hungry tiger, or a bottomless well...moving into relationship with these parts through the image offer a restorative and reparative opportunity for mirroring and attuning, dialoging and imaginative engagement. Images through dream and art offer such profound movement toward healing...
The hunger or unmet needs in these forms is a striking reminder. I had the image of my inner child stuck in a dark and deep well some years ago during a therapy session. She's also shown up in a Rapunzel-like tower, it felt like a strange inverse of that. Sometimes she is content in her lonesome space, and other times hungry to be mirrored and engaged with. Her ambivalence is characteristic of shadowed parts and has required a lot of nuance in my inner work.
Thank you for sharing these inner images of your inner child. The well and the tower are such strong and moving images 🖤 it's always so fascinating how these images also change with time and how we can get to know multiplicity through them
