I feel like that early support from an adult to help navigate a terrifying aspect of the mythopoetic/imaginal space was incredibly important, like a manifestation of the “wise old woman” archetype to help guide you through. Thanks, Michael. I haven't had much opportunity to speak about my childhood and roots in NY but it is a big part of my experience. And although I've worked through some of those early demons, there's definitely new ones that have risen up from the shadows. I plan to get more into those topics in future posts.
