The Artemisian stands at the threshold of the psyche and its mysteries, a home for inner work and archetypal study. Through workshops, educational writings, and a supportive community, you’ll learn how to trace the symbolic threads of life, foster greater self-awareness and deepen your journey of growth and development.
At the heart of The Artemisian is a weaving of two traditions:
Archetypal Studies
Archetypes are the dynamic forces of the psyche, foundational structures that connect us to the generative ground of our inner world. They reveal themselves most clearly through image, symbol, and patterns of experience, which is why we look towards symbolic systems as a way of engaging them. Working with archetypal images opens a pathway into the unconscious, where transformation and deeper meaning can unfold, and where our personal experiences are held in a container rich with significance and imaginal depth. Here at The Artemisian, you’ll see me drawing most often upon mythology and fairytales, tarot, alchemy, and dreams.
Jungian Psychology
Jung was endlessly fascinated with the nature of the psyche, the way it produced images, structured reality, how it drove the personality towards growth and wholeness. Drawing from his theories, we explore the relationship between consciousness and the unconscious as a central task of inner work. I reference the greater body of Jungian work and literature often, from the shadow to personality typology, active imagination to dream interpretation, as tools and reference points for deepening self-understanding and psychological development.

Hi — I’m Alyssa, a scholar, educator and writer guiding inner work through archetypal studies and Jungian psychology.
My work centers around making the archetypal language of the psyche accessible and transformative. Drawing from over a decade of scholarship in mythology, Jungian psychology, dreams, tarot, and alchemy, I guide my students in cultivating a relationship with the unconscious and deepening inner work through archetypal awareness.
In my writings and workshops, I offer an approach to self-development that is structured yet intuitive, educationally rich yet grounded in personal meaning and psychological depth. I’m here to offer frameworks, tools, and insights to support your path of growth and becoming.
