SPEAKER 1
Everybody, welcome. My name is Alyssa Polizzi. If you're new here, I run the Artemisian, which is a platform and a community that explores inner work via archetypal studies and union psychology. Very excited to welcome you today as we explore archetypal tarot, an approach to the cards that's developed by our guest, Marianna Lewis.

She is a professional tarot counselor, scholar, and creator of Persephone Sister, a platform for psycho-spiritual education and and guidance. Now, before we kick off, we have a couple of announcements that we would love to share with you guys. So the first is here at the Artemisian, every month we do a workshop,

and this month we're focusing in on alchemy. So we'll be exploring a Jungian archetypal approach to alchemy, special focus on the negrito stage, which is really all about encountering the shadow, descent to the unconscious, the darkness and all of the themes that come up around that in alchemy. This is a workshop for members.

Archetypal Tarot with Mariana Louis

A depth psychological approach to the cards

Today I was joined in a live discussion and Q&A with Mariana Louis, M.A to explore her archetypal and Jungian approach to tarot. Check out the recording for the full conversation. Enrollment for Mariana’a Archetypal Tarot School is currently open, for more info:

Discussion details:

Archetypal Tarot is an approach that views the cards as a pathway to individuation. Mariana created this framing by blending Jungian theory with the traditional tarot to support readers in meeting deeper truths — the archetypes, complexes, and unconscious longings that are at the core of who they really are. In the event, Alyssa and Mariana explore what it means to view the cards psychologically, some of the core Jungian and archetypal ideas that inspired her approach and more.

About Mariana Louis: Mariana Louis, M.A. is a professional tarot counselor, scholar, and creator of Persephone’s Sister, a platform for psycho-spiritual education and guidance. Blending her knowledge of the tarot with her Jungian scholarship, Mariana has taught thousands of students her Archetypal Tarot Approach to guide their individuation.
