In my neck of the woods, the days shorten, night deepens and shrouds us in darkness for longer and longer. Feeling immersed in such a liminal space between seasons, I was called to turn to the archetype of the Sorceress for our monthly inner work theme, a figure who traverses realms of shadow, hidden depths, transformation and intuitive power. Wherever you are in the world, the Sorceress can act as psychic guide to the unconscious, supporting you in shadow work and refinement of intuition. The Sorceress is a figure of the liminal realms, a wielder of energy and power beyond the seen. She stands at the threshold of the unconscious, navigating shadow and channeling it with intention and purpose. As archetype, she guides us into the darkness of psyche to uncover what has been hidden, strengthen intuition, and awaken vitality and inner wisdom.
In this workshop, we turn to the archetype of the Sorceress as guide into shadow and the depths of the unconscious. Drawing on Jungian theory, mythology and symbol, we explore how to navigate liminal thresholds via the Sorceress where intuition awakens and hidden power stirs.
